President Assured to Order NSC Today To Release Details of Disappeared Surrendered to the Triforces.

President Maithreepala Sirisena made a visit to the Northern Province yesterday (12) and held meetings with officials, Civil Society Representatives and Representatives of disappeared people during the peak of war in the North. Meetings were held at the NPC Governor’s office and Jaffna Secretariat. While he addressed the issues raised by the representatives of disappeared people, he assured that he would order the National Security Council to be held today (13) to reveal the details of those disappeared after surrendering to the triforces. Details of information such as Rehabilitation Centers, Detention Camps, and Remand or in any other place they were held, if they are detained.
