Three-Wheeler Fares Not Regulated….

The Ministry of Transport & Civil Aviation has stated it did not have the legal right to grant permission for the increase of three-wheeler fares.

Ministry Secretary Nihal Somaweera said, that only the affairs pertaining to bus services came under their purview and regulation.

Further he said, that the revision of three-wheeler fares would come under the purview of the Local Government Ministry.
