Dengue Patients Exceeds 70,000

 The Health Service Assistant Entomologists’   Association Chairman Najith Sumanasena told journalists  that at this stage the number of prople affected by dengue in Srilanka has exceeded 70,000 and more than 200  dengue deaths have been reported.

It is relevant to mention the fact that  45 per cent of those  70,000 cases have been recorded in the Western Province.
