Investigation into a Massive Financial Fraud During Previous Regime…..

Presidential Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has commenced an investigation  into a financial fraud caused  in connection with the Water supply project implemented in  Ampara  during the previous regime.

This project was  funded with the  Government  as well as foreign funds .

The Presidential Commission   has already inquired  from the former Chairman of the Water Resources  Board Karunasena Hettiarachchi .

MP Dinesh Gunawardena was  in charge of the  project  was summoned to appear  before the Presidential Commission   on Monday (10^th) at 10 am  in this connection.
