JO Welcomes Views Expressed by Chief Prelates on Constitution

MP Udaya Gammanpila of the Joint Opposition said, he worked hard to delay the formulation of the proposed new Constitution within the Constitutional Council.

Now Chief Prelates of the three chapters clearly stated that the new Constitution is not necessary. The JO welcomes the views expressed by them.

The Government must pay attention to the views of the Chief Prelates.
