Full Blood Count at Rs. 250

Considering quiet a number of Dengue suspected patients rushed to state as well as private hospital to do Full Blood Count Lab test, the Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne earlier requested authorities in a private hospitals to charge only Rs. 250 for it.  But most of the private nursing homes continued to charge over Rs. 500 to do full blood count.

Yesterday, Health Minister Rajitha has ordered all private hospitals to charge only Rs.250 for full blood count and antigen test Rs.1000 until further notice.
