Shooting in Julampitiya, Middeniya

An individual has been hospitalized after being shot at a residence in Julampitiya, Middeniya.

This  shooting had occurred due to the development of an altercation that happened between two individuals.  The injured has been admitted to the Ambilipitiya Base Hospital.

The individual,  who had fired the gun was attacked by another person at the scene with a sharp object, and was admitted to the Weeraketiya hospital due to the injuries he had received.

The shooter was later transferred to the Tangalle Base Hospital.

The Middeniya Police Department has begun further investigations in connection with the shooting .
