Mahinda Won’t Contest Future Elections Under SLFP Ticket..

In a press briefing of the Joint Opposition yesterday (11), former Minister Prof.G.L.Pieris said, that the former President cum current Kurunegala MP Mahinda Rajapaksa  has decided not to contest future elections under the SLFP even if he is invited by the party. This decision was taken by him because the party has abandoned its original policies on which it was built up. Further, party policies have been mortgaged to the UNP, he said.
