Court Verdict on Navy Media Spokesman, D. K. P Dassanayake Today

Navy Media Spokesman, D. K. P Dassanayake was arrested and remanded  in connection with the abduction and disappearance of 11 youths from Colombo between the years 2008 and 2009.
The Wattala Magistrate’s Court reported to have  announced that former Navy Media Spokesperson, D. K. P. Dassanayake, who was arrested by CID personnel is currently receiving treatment at the Navy Hospital in Welisara, under protection provided by security forces, will be given a  verdict by the Colombo Fort Magistrate today (14).
In the meantime , MP cumPivithuru Hela Urumaya leader  Saman Gammanpila  in a press briefing yesterday alleged that  former Navy Media Spokesperson, D. K. P. Dassanayake being unjustly arrested and detained.
News just received revealed that Navy Media Spokesperson, D. K. P. Dassanayake has been remanded  until 19th July by the Fort Magistrate today (14).
