D.M.Amaratunga as New Leader of the North Central Province

UNP 11 Councillors of the North Central Provincial Council has brought a no confidence motion against its leader D.M.R.Siripala. When it was taken up for debate in the NPC yesterday  (18), there was tense situation. However, NPC Councillors voted to select D.M.Amaratunge, a UNP Councillor as the new leader of the NPC on Tuesday (18).
