Fisheries Minister Mahinda Amaraweera stated that he will announce if he would resign from politics tomorrow.
Amaraweera said that he is confused by the prevailing political situation, Political sources stated.
He added that one reason for the confusion is the speech by President Maithripala Sirisena last evening. However, he added that incidents that happened even before the speech were also reasons for the confusion.
If he decides to resign from politics, he would even suspend the election campaign, Amaraweera said.
Mahinda Amaraweera is contesting the election from Hambantota District.
