When the murder case of Vidya was taken up for inquiry today at Kayts Magistrate Court , the lawyer appearing on behalf of then Senior DIG Lalith Jeyasinghe has displayed a video before the Court. It showed the presence of State Minister of Child Affairs Vijayakala Maheswaran at the scene , where people have tied up the main suspect Swiss Kumar.
On seeing this video, the Magistrate has ordered the Criminal Investigation Department to investigate in this connection and submit a report to the Court on the next date.
