Srilanka  Failed  to Take Steps to Establish Religious Freedom

In a statement issued by the US State Department on religious freedom in the country, it was mentioned  that the Srilanka Government has failed to take action against those, who instigated religious hatred and attacked on Muslims and Christians in the year 2014. Although statements were issued concrete action was  not taken.

 When reconciliation efforts are taken, the importance of engaging representatives from minor religious group is stressed .
