Jayaratne Herath Removed From SLFP Organiser Post

Former Minister Jayaratne Herath has been removed from his post of SLFP Chief Organiser for Polgahawela Electorate.

He obtained membership of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna during a membership drive event held in Kurunegala yesterday (27). He is part of the SLFP central committee and also held a ministerial portfolio under the former regime .The Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna is the newly formed political party consisting of members of the Joint Opposition (JO).
