Former Controller Immigration and Emigration cum current Director of Custom Department Chulananda Perera has been summoned to appear before the Colombo Chief Magistrate Court on 9th October 2017, to record his evidence in connection with the issue of passport based on false documents to Shashi Weerawansa, wife of MP Wimal Weerawansa.
