Landslide Warnings to 5 Districts

Disaster Management Centre (DMC) has issued landslide warnings in the five districts, Galle, Matara, Kalutara, Ratnapura and Kegalle.

This land slide  warnings was issued due to the prevailing weather conditions.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department announced that rainfall was to be expected in many districts across the island.
