A person attempted to smuggle in 617.63 g of a metal equivalent to Gold has been nabbed at the BIA by Custom Officers.
This metal is used to turnout spares for motor vehicles. This metal is smuggled in the form of small pieces and tin plates . Total value of this metal is estimated at Rs 1,995, 425(1.9 Million) said custom officers.
