Parliament Road has been closed for traffic from Parliament Roundabout due to a protest. Traffic congestion has been reported in the area due to the road closure .
The protest has been organised by the National Freedom Front (NFF) MP Wimal Weerawansa and with the participation of several other political parties and organisations.
They are demanding that the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance Bill be completely removed from the Parliament agenda.
