Underworld Gang Suspected to be the Master Mind  Behind Firearm Theft at Wasgamuwa

An unknown group broke into the armoury of the Wasgamuwa National Park on 21^st of September and took away 5 firearms.

An investigating officer engaged in the special investigation into the loss of 5 firearms from the Wasgamuwa National Park Office, reported to have said, that he suspects that an underworld gang may have involved in the robbery.

STF units have also been deployed to assist the investigation to identify and arrest the suspects.
