World’s Biggest Book Sale Begins in Colombo With 1.5 Million Books

The world’s biggest Big Bad Wolf book sale was inaugurated by the Minister of Education , Akila Viraj Kariyawasam on Thursday (5) at Sri Lanka Exhibition and  Convention Centre. Exhibition with 1.5 million books on sale. This book exhibition will be open 24 hours a day, providing book enthusiasts with the opportunity to shop non-stop for 10 consecutive days.

The Sri Lanka Exhibition and  Convention Founded by Managing Director Andrew Yap and Executive Director Jacqueline Ng in Malaysia, the Big Bad Wolf sale is aimed at encouraging the Srilankan English reading public at reasonable prices.

1.5 million books include brand-new, high-quality English books covering 20,000 titles across all genres, offered at an unbelievable 60%-80% discount. The Big Bad Wolf is in collaboration with Pro Read Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a firm with a mission of spreading knowledge with affordable books, and the Ministry of Education.
