Payment to May floods victims Begins

As per Director of the National Disaster Relief Services Centre, the amount payable as damages in 12 districts amounted to Rs. 10,548 million.

The National Disaster Relief Services Centre has commence making compensation payment to the owners of houses and property that were damaged following the May floods .

He added that compensation is being given via the National Insurance Trust Fund.
