Speaker Ratified MC, UC & PS Amendments

Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Faizer Mustafa had presented the draft bills  on Municipal, Urban and Pradeshiya Sabha in Parliament, which was passed on 9^th of  this month with amendments.

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has signed all  three Amendment Acts today  (12). Hence, the Acts will be gazetted a week later.
