Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, 1st T20I: Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 7 wickets

Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 7 wickets to go 1-0 up in three-match series. The Sarfraz Ahmed-led side did have early hiccups after losing wickets in quick succession but a steady partnership between Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik provided them with resistance. Earlier, Pakistan bundled out Sri Lanka for 102 in first T20I in Abu Dhabi. Riding on an emphatic bowling performance, Pakistan thoroughly dominated the visiting team. Fast bowler Hasan Ali once again showed his class and scalped three wickets while Usman Khan and Mohammad Hafeez bagged a couple each. The Perera-led Sri Lanka side began the innings in a dismal manner and lost first wicket on the third delivery of the innings and were eventually left tottering at 87/8. Sri Lanka earlier lost the five-match ODI series 0-5.
