Thirty-one suspects including MP Prasanna Ranaweera, Western Provincial Councillor Upali Kodikara, Southern Provincial Councillors Sampath Athukorala and Major (Rtd.) Ajith Prasanna were arrested in connection with the protest in Hambantota have been further remanded until 13th November by the Hambantota Magistrate’s Court.
