Budget 2018: Establishment of a Regulatory Body to Regulate Three-wheelers

The Government has proposed to establish a regulatory body under the Ministry of Transport to regulate operation of three wheelers in Srilanka. The government will provide training to three wheel drivers. The training course will include training on tour guide duties, which will enable them to operate as tour guides. Those, who have been trained will be provided with a symbol to be displayed on the three wheel.
