Meteor Shower of 2017 Tomorrow Early Morning

The annual Geminid meteor shower produces up to 120 meteors per hour at its peak, more than any other meteor shower of the year. You can also expect an increase in meteor activity in the nights leading up to and after the peak.

Astronomers are predicting the best meteor shower for the year 2017 this week with the peak happening Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, Dec. 13-14.

”It’s definitely an easy thing to see. Just go outside and wait”, said Brian Skiff, an astronomy research assistant at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff.
