State of Emergency Gazette Notification to be Reversed Only On 18th March

President’s Secretary Austin Fernando said, that the State of emergency which was declared on 6^th was expected to be removed today (14).

As the President should be in Srilanka to sign the gazette notification to remove the State of emergency, it is only possible to issue the gazette notification after the President completes his 5 days official visit to Japan on 17^th and return to Srilanka on 18^th.
