Nursing Staff on Strike in Puttalam Hospital

Due to delay in implementing annual transfers the nursing staff at the Puttalam Hospital has launched a strike from this morning (20).

The National Organizer of the All Ceylon Nurses’ Union, S. B. Medawatte said this step was taken to register their protest against authorities delaying transfers.
