Aloysius & Kasun File Revision Applications Seeking For Bail

The owner of Perpetual Treasuries Limited Arjun Aloysius and CEO Kasun Palisena were arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) on 4th February following a complaint lodged by present Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Indrajit Coomaraswamy.

The attorneys representing Aloysius and Palisena filed a revision applications seeking bail before the High Court on a previous occasion, however, Colombo High Court rejected their bail application.

Followed by this, they have been filed revision applications seeking for bail before Appeal Court today (21).

In the meantime, they were further remanded until 29th of this month.
