Three Fishermen in Jaffna Reported Missing

Three fishermen, who were fishing off the coast of Jaffna-Kurukuttuwan were reported missing, Police have commenced investigations. The fishermen had set out to sea on Saturday at 1.45 pm.

The fishermen had contacted their families yesterday (27) at around 7 am requesting to inform the Navy base in Naga Deepa that the seas were rough.

Jaffna police with the support of Navy has commenced a search operation to locate the missing fishermen, The Police Media Spokesperson’s office said.
