JO to Arrive at a Decision on 20th Amendment on 30th 

Speaking in Balapitiya on May 26, ex-president Mahinda Rajapaksa said, leaders of the joint opposition will meet on May to discuss and decide on the JVP’s proposal to abolish the executive presidency. They will consider the background and the motives of the private member’s motion moved by the leftist party before taking a decision.
