A Special Meeting Between Mahinda & JO Leaders Today

All party leaders of the Joint Opposition (JO) to meet former President Mahinda Rajapaksa  in Colombo today (30), to discuss the 20th Amendment to the Constitution, brought by the JVP as a private members’ Bill in Parliament, to abolish the executive presidency.

 A decision will be taken at the meeting on whether or not to support the 20th Amendment, JO sources said.
