Northern Province Education Minister Summoned to TID

The Northern Province Minister of Education Kandiah Sarveswaran has been summoned by the Terrorist Investigation Division (TID) in connection with a complaint claiming he rejected raising the national flag during an event at the Iratperiyakulam College in Vavuniya.

The TID had informed the Northern Province Minister that a statement needed to be recorded regarding the incident.

Followed by this, he has been summoned to be present before the Terrorist Investigation Division on 20^th of June.
