Medical Students Dead Against Transferring SAITM Students to KDU

Kotelawala Defence University (Special Provisions) Bill was passed in Parliament yesterday (Jun 20). Provisions in the bill allow the KDU to absorb 980 SAITM medical students.

The Government Medical Students’ Action Committee staged a silent protest at the Parliament roundabout against the move yesterday.

Further the committee reported to have determined to fight against this move in future.
