NPC Receives 625 Complaints Against Police

National Police Commission’s Public Complaints Division’s Director Prabath Lakshman says it has received 625 complaints against police during the first six months of this year and investigations on half of them have been completed so far.

250 and 173 complaints against police were in respect of inaction and using force respectively.
