President’s Secretary Says Annexure 3 Not Submitted with the Bond Report

The report submitted by the Presidential Commission on Inquiry on the Central Bank bond issue was not attached with an annexure 3, says President’s Secretary Austin Fernando.

Clarifying was issued, in response to a media statement by MP Jayantha Samaraweera, the Deputy Leader of the National Freedom Front at the Department of National Archives on Monday that the annexure had not been submitted.

MP Samaraweera made a request on Monday for information on the bond report from the National Archives under the Right to Information Act.

The Director-General had said, that if the President’s Secretary issues a directive, the report of the commission could be provided with annexures 1, 2, 4 and 5.
