Possibility for showers over the Island is less.

However light showers will occur at several places in Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and Galle and Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Eastern and Uva provinces after 02.00 pm.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
