The Police Media Spokesman said, that according to the Motor Traffic Act, the amount imposed on 33 motor traffic offences will be increased from 15th August.
The relevant fare was declared by the Gazette dated 15th January this year.
Accordingly, the fine of 33 traffic offenses has been increased by 30 to 50 per cent and steps have been taken to issue new fine warrants regarding the traffic offenses that were brought before the Magistrate’s Court earlier.
