(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Ten petitions including political parties and civil society organisations filed at the Supreme Court against the early dissolution of Parliament by President Maithripala Sirisena.
Earlier, the All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC), the United National Party (UNP), the Tamil National Alliance (TNA), the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP), and the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) stated that they will also be filing cases in the Supreme Court against the dissolution of Parliament on Monday (12).
