CDS Wijegunaratne released on conditional bail

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Chief of Defence Staff Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne, who was in remand custody, released on conditional bail by Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake, today (05).

CDS Wijegunaratne is accused of aiding and abetting Former Lieutenant Commander, Chandana Prasad Hettiarachchi of the Sri Lanka Navy involved in the abduction and forced disappearance of 11 youth.
