(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Mainly fair weather will continue over the island. However, a few showers may occur in the Eastern Province, and in Polonnaruwa, Mathale and Badulla Districts, the Department of Meteorology stated on Saturday (05).
Fairly cold weather is expected to continue over the island particularly in Northern, North-Central, and North-Western Provinces.
Fairly strong gusty winds up to 40 kilometres per hour can be expected over Western, Eastern Provinces, and in Puttalam, Kegalle, Monaragala and Hambanthota Districts.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Central and Sabaragamuwa Provinces during the morning.
