A Sri Lankan national was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport for attempting to smuggle four gold biscuits into the country.
The 29-year-old suspect, a resident of Aduruppu Street in Colombo, was arrested upon arrival from Sharjah.
Officers of the Police Narcotics Bureau found the gold biscuits canceled inside his luggage.
