(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Uva, North-Western, Western and North-Central Provinces, and Ampara and Batticaloa Districts after 2.00 PM on Friday (12), the Department of Meteorology stated.
Fairly heavy falls about 75 millimetres can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva and Southern Provinces, and in Kaluthara District and severe lightning activities are also possible in those areas.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces during the morning, the Met. Dept. further added.
