New Governors appointed

(FASTNEWS|COLOMBO) – New Governors appointed to 3 provinces in Sri Lanka took oaths before President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (05).

Accordingly, former Central Province Governor Maithri Gunaratne appointed as the new Governor of the Uva Province, while former Southern Province Governor Rajith Keerthi Thennakoon appointed as the new Governor of the Central Province.

Former United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Parliamentarian Hemal Gunasekara appointed as the Governor of the Southern Province.
