(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Deputy Speaker and the Chair of the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) investigating the Easter Sunday attacks, Ananda Kumarasiri stated that although President Maithripala Sirisena has been notified to appear before the Committee, he [The Chairman] has not received a response from the President to date.
The PSC will convene for a next week, and a special attention will be given to the compilation of the final report during the meeting, Kumarasiri stressed.
