(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – Opposition political parties have instigated the trade union action across the country, Minister Sajith Premadasa charged yesterday (30).
Deputy Leader of the United National Party (UNP) and its Presidential hopeful, Minister Premadasa made this remarks at the opening of his Election Operations Office in Colombo.
He stated that the series of on-going protests were initiated as an attempt to anger the public and create hostility towards the Government.
The Minister further added that innocent people were being used by the Opposition to gain cheap political mileage.
