Jaffna Uni. student found dead in hostel

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – A student from the Medical Faculty of Jaffna University was discovered hanging in his hostel room in Jaffna.

Twenty-six-year-old, student was originally from Palmunai in Mannar.

The cause of death is yet to be ascertained as the student had been treated for mental illness.

Jaffna Police currently investigating the death.
