(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The wife of Parliamentarian Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka, Anoma Fonseka says Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa is the only candidate who unrelieved a women charter.
Speaking at a media briefing in Kandy she questioned whether the public is willing to go back to an era where fear prevailed along with a white van culture.
She said while the public is not in favour of such an era, Fonseka reiterated that the opportunity has arisen to usher in a better future.
Anoma Fonseka urged the public to think of the future when choosing a candidate to vote for.
Fonseka claimed that, that individual is Sajith Premadasa, who is the only candidate to have vouched to address the needs of women.
