(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The suspects involved in the shooting in Kataragama yesterday (10), have been identified by the Police.
Two individuals were stabbed with sharp object at around 5.45 PM, where one of them had been then shot and killed.
The deceased is a 26-year-old resident of Sella Kataragama.
The other individual who sustained injuries in the incident is a 42-year-old resident of Sella Kataragama, and he is currently receiving treatment at the Hambantota General Hospital.
The motive behind the shooting has not been revealed yet.
Further investigations to arrest the suspects are being carried out by the Kataragama Police.
