Presidential Commission submits interim report on Easter attacks

(FASTNEWS | COLOMBO) – The 5-member Presidential Commission appointed to investigate the Easter attacks yesterday (19) submitted an interim report to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

The report has been compiled based on statements recorded by the Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith, Senior Police Officers and a number of others over the attacks.

The five-member Presidential Commission was appointed by former President Maithripala Sirisena through the issuance of an Extraordinary Gazette Notification on 21 September.

Court of Appeal Justice, Janak De Silva Chairs the Commission.
